Concert For The Caribbean

Don't Miss Out
Time: Wednesday 7.00pm
Cost: £15 Advance

On 1st November 2017, a very special charity concert will be held in Southampton to raise funds and awareness for the small Caribbean islands hit by the recent devastating hurricanes which have left many people on the brink of disaster. It will be a music and comedy festival in a single evening featuring a huge, eclectic raft of international performers, all of whom have been affected by the devastation and suffering caused by hurricanes Irma and Maria and who have banded together to try and raise both awareness and funds to directly assist the relief effort on the ground.

Within the space of two weeks In September 2017, an unprecedented two category 5 hurricanes made direct landfall on the Caribbean islands and caused indiscriminate devastation and destruction of everything in their path. There has been lots of press coverage of this, particularly in regions with larger communication networks such as the USA mainland but many are still unaware of the true scale of the destruction, especially in the smaller islands such as Dominica, St Maarten and Barbuda where it is said that up to 95% of buildings are uninhabitable and the local economies of agriculture and tourism have been all but destroyed.

The concert will feature a huge all-star lineup including:

International comedians:
Kev McCarthy, Manuel Martinez and Colin Cole

World class tribute acts to:
Simply Red – Red Mick
George Michael – Andrew Browning
Gary Barlow – Tommy Barron
Robbie Williams – Tony Lewis
Whitney Houston – Hayley Ria Christian
Neil Diamond – Gary Ryan
Meatloaf – Andy Stine
Bruno Mars – Jeff Dingle
Freddie Mercury – Steve Larkins
Lionel Richie – Hamilton Browne
Phil Collins – Andrew James

Additionally, there will be performances from Zac Bauman with his “Summit of Swing” show and the legendary Kev Moore of Christie and BC Sweet.

The whole evening will be backed by an amazing 7-piece house band led by Jaime Caswell and Jetset.

There is sure to be some additions to the line up, with a professional cast of 23 and counting, this is a very rare show not to be missed!
